2010 ROSIE THE RIVETER NOMINATION FORMS

NOW BEING ACCEPTED

There are many different people that contribute their time and talent to help the union get information out and our members represented.  But for some people, participation goes beyond the obvious.  We have members that can be counted on to show up at Labor Walks; go to phone banks; organize various drives; make phone calls to our politicians; collect funds for members in need or simply be an example in the workplace about why a union should exist.

          The CWA Women’s Committee is looking for those members……those female members.  Those women you see in your unit, your branch or your workplace.  Anyone can nominate a member.  She does not need to be an officer in the union.  But you know her and her co-workers know her because she has put herself out there again and again in support of our union causes.

          Fill out the nomination form.  Be sure to include a short written essay on why you feel she is a good candidate.  The essay weighs heavily on which candidate is chosen.
